Artists

Our Artist Directory is a vetted list of P.ink Artists – talented, creative, compassionate, and badass professionals who are experts in mastectomy tattooing and are interested in helping people emotionally heal after a mastectomy. We welcome you to use this Directory to find verified artists near you to self-fund a mastectomy tattoo or as part of our P.ink Angel Fund.

What does it mean to be a P.ink artist?

There are four ways you can participate in P.ink as a verified artist.

  1. Become a P.ink Artist – As a P.ink Artist, you’ll get added to our Artist Directory so people can find your work and contact information to book with you directly.
  2. Participate in the P.ink Angel Fund – The P.ink Angel Fund allows you to schedule a tattoo with a recipient on a mutually agreed upon date throughout the year and be reimbursed up to $1200 for a mastectomy tattoo.
  3. Participate in a P.ink Day – P.ink Day participation is basically the big kahuna. P.ink Days take place exclusively in October of every year where a shop shuts down for the day to help us serve multiple recipients. As a P.ink Day Artist, you’ll be matched with one recipient to donate a free mastectomy tattoo. You do not have to currently be affiliated with a shop to participate in a P.ink Day.
  4. Host a P.ink Day – By offering the use of your shop for a P.ink Day, you will help us serve many women in your community. P.ink Days are private, which means you’ll need to allow P.ink to take over your shop for the day. You will work with the Local Leader in your area to coordinate, including picking a date in October that works for your shop and the P.ink Day Artists.

What is the vetting process?

Our Artist vetting process takes into account a number of variables, such as your willingness, availability, and styles. Artists need to not only have the right skills to work with scar tissue and radiated skin, but also an understanding of the truly emotional impact of this work!

To figure out if you’re a good fit, please complete our interest form. A P.ink representative will reach out to you to discuss your interest in P.ink and your past experience.

Does P.ink work outside of North America?

We welcome artists from anywhere around the world to apply to join our directory. However, our P.ink Angel Fund and P.ink Day Artists can only be located in the U.S. If you are based in Canada and interested in getting involved in events, check out our friends at Empower Ink.
