Personal Ink is only successful because of the dedicated volunteers, talented artists, and generous sponsors who donate their time and efforts. Getting involved with P.ink means making a meaningful difference in someone’s life, something they won’t soon forget.

Volunteers make the P.ink world go around.
What kind of volunteers do you need?
We have a few volunteer options:
- Become a Local Leader – This is the big kahuna of volunteering. As a Local Leader, you’ll organize your local P.ink Day from start to finish, including coordinating with the tattoo shop and artists, communicating with recipients, and managing all event logistics. Don’t worry, the Fuck Cancer team is always around to lend a helping hand!
- Be a P.ink Day Volunteer – If you don’t have the capacity or interest in becoming a Local Leader, but want to get involved with your local P.ink Day, this option is for you! P.ink Day Supporters can take many forms, including being an extra pair of hands on at the P.ink Day event, helping to secure donations from local businesses, and more.
- You Tell Us – If you have a special skill set that you think would be a good fit for P.ink, please reach out and tell us about it!
What qualities are you looking for in a volunteer?
We welcome anyone who is interested in working with us, but we particularly cherish volunteers who understand the impact that P.ink can have in someone’s life because they have had a mastectomy or other breast cancer treatment themselves.

What kind of artists are you looking for?
We have a few ways you can lend your artistic talents:
- Tattoo Artists – Without tattoo artists, P.ink quite literally would not be possible. If you are an artist with past experience in tattooing over scar tissue and/or providing post-mastectomy tattoos, we’d love to have you join our mission!
- Photographers & Videographers – Professional photographers and videographers lend a special touch to the P.ink Day experience for both recipients and artists. The moments you capture help us all remember the transformation that recipients undergo from the beginning to end of a P.ink Day.
What qualities are you looking for in artists?
Our artists are compassionate, generous, and kind and able to make recipients feel comfortable during what can be a very uncomfortable and emotional experience.
What is the time commitment of P.ink Days?
We ask all tattoo artists, photographers, and videographers who join P.ink Days to be available for the entire day. Once a shop and date have been chosen in your location, we’ll confirm your availability.
